This evening was a HUGE success and really was enjoyed by all of us!
The show began with the amazing sounds of Howard Wing, while all brides began to arrive, getting seated eagerly awaiting for the fashion show to begin.
During the fashion show we had the wonderful Rowleys serving the most gorgeous canapes and bucks fizz (the smoked salmon bellini’s were definately my fav they were lush!)
We also had the pleasure of the brilliant Mike and Caroline from Challinors photgraphy who were on hand to capture the beautiful gowns and the lovely atmosphere of the evening – the pics you have seen on this blog for this event are all of their own stunning work.
The amazing Jessica and Jason were present from Flower Design, they brought along the most stunning bridal bouquets for the brides to hold with their dresses. They looked beautiful and finished the dresses off perfectly.
The models were beautified by the AMAZING make up artist Sonara Parker, she really is fab at what she does and all details regarding Sonara’s work are available instore and on her website. The hair was styled for the models by the lovely Lorraine Day who’s information is also available instore.
The models showed off the dresses beautifully and all the new brides seemed to ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’ at all the stunning new collections being modelled around the store. The designers we showcased were Pronovias, San Patrick, Ronald Joyce, Mori Lee and My Lady.
A raffle was held on the evening and all proceeds went to Brian house, we managed to raise £54 on the evening for this very worthy cause. The 1st prize was a stunning pair of Halo & Co earrings, followed by some other beautiful gifts.
A great BIG thank you to everyone who was involved in making this evening a great success.
We are busy preparing for the show,delirious about the 2010 collections and can’t wait to see our new brides in them.

Here is a picture of the lovely ladies from our Blackburn branch, proudly wearing their daffs and pink bows at a fund raising charity evening at Sparth House, for Marie Curie Nurses and Breast Cancer.
It was the 1st time all the girls have been together since February – as Linda has been undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
It was great to see her looking so fantastic and we are all very excited about Linda’s return to work mid November.
It turned out to be a very enjoyable evening and fun was had by all. Pam scooped top top prize, an Estee Lauder box set,
whilst Denise not quite so lucky, won a pasta bowl!!!

OK…here goes, I don’t “do” facebook, I’m not hooked on texting and am pretty grim at answering e.mails but I could get hooked on this blogging thing.
So just to get me started a few snippets to show I do have a life outside of the bridal world.
Starting the year in fancy dress 80’s style-and yes the dress is genuine, found lurking in the back of the wardrobe-I just knew it would come in useful!!
what’s next? oh yes,at the other end of the scale a Christening in St Pauls Cathedral OBE Chapel. Here with my lovely hubby.
A bit further afield we were lucky enough to spend a few days in Nice exploring the area with good friends,we had a great day in Monacco ……..I’ve chosen my yacht !!! 
I know I said I have a life outside Bridal but the highlight of this year was the wonderful wedding of our son Barry to his beautiful bride Jessica, a fabulous day at Adlington Hall Cheshire.The ceremony took place in the magnificent Hunting Lodge,the sun shone,gardens in full bloom,delicious food.A brilliant day.
