A big congratulations to Mr and Mrs Beesting who got married in New York in February!! Katie looked truly sensational in her gorgeous San Patrick gown which was teamed with a lace San Patrick jacket and finished off with beautiful accssories by Katzi. The Groom and his ushers looked equally as smart in their menswear which was hired from our Blackpool branch and a fabulous time was had by all!

They really are a lovely couple and from everyone here at Dan Kerr Brides we wish them all the best for the future together!!

Our collegue and very dear friend Sheree has taken over as the new manager at our sister store “One and Only” which is based in Preston. This exclusive bridal boutique offers a selection of stunning gowns by Jenny Packham, Ian Stewart, Dizzie Lizzie to name a few, and by catering  for one bride at a time there will be no crowds, no stress and no pressure, just rows of mouth watering dresses and the chance to feel like a princess as you prepare for your big day.

A massive congratulations to my very close friend Melissa who got married to Mr Joe Wright on the 19th Feb 2010. Her dress was absolutely perfect for her and was from our sister store, “One and Only” in Preston.

The groom and his ushers looked very smart in our menswear where the theme of black and white ran throughout the day. Mains Hall looked absoultely gorgeous!!

           Mel looked the perfect princess in her white silk gown, which was finished with a long veil and swarvorski crystals.        

   A big congratualtions to you both from everyone here at Dan Kerr Brides and we wish you a very happy future together!

As always we had a fantastic night at the Savoy wedding fayre, where we showcased our 2010 collection of stunning bridal gowns, accessories and menswear.

We were very excited to be part of the Bridal Fashion show, where our stunning gowns were modelled by Becky, Jess, Charlotte, Macy and the fabulous “Savoy girls” who did a wonderful job at helping out at short notice!         

    The catwalk was compared by our very own Stephanie, who did an amazing job and the photographs were taken by our  friend Mr Mike Challinor.

 A very big thankyou to all who attended this event and a massive thanks to all the staff at the Savoy for letting us be a part of this very enjoyable evening!!

Apologies for the  lack of  “blogging!”  We have been very busy here at Dan Kerr Brides looking after all of our brides over the winter period, many congratulations to you all! Unfortuantly we have lost our recent blogger Sheree, who has been relocated to our sister store “One And Only”, We wish her all the best in her new adventure! Good luck, you will be missed!!

We are all very excited about our new prom stock which has now arrived and we have lots of fantastic colours and styles to choose from! Thankyou to St Georges School who put on an amazing prom fayre at the De vere hotel where we were thrilled to be invited and a great night was had by all!  

Prom season is quickly round the corner so be the first to look fabulous in one of our many styles!!

We are also proud to welcome our new member of staff, Helen who will be starting with us next week, joining our fantastic team and our little family!!
