Celebrity bride Maureen Nolan came into Dan Kerr Brides in Blackpool for our help with choosing her wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses. She looked absolutely stunning in her fitted lace gown which was finished off with a beautiful lace crystal bolero and veil. The bridesmaids, Bernie, Coleen, Linda and Maddison looked gorgeous in sky blue taffeta  dresses and the little flower girls Erin and Ciara looked perfect in sky blue and ivory to match. Not forgetting the groom! Richie looked handsome in his ivory suit which was hired from our menswear.

From us all here at Dan Kerr Brides we wish Maureen and Richie a very happy marriage and it was our pleasure to help them on their special day!!

This was a spectacular event held at the Waldorf Hotel in London.

We started the afternoon with a lovely drinks reception followed by a beautiful catwalk show in the stunning Garden room.  This catwalk show featured the 2011 collection of Alfred Angelo wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses.

Lunch was served afterwards it really was a lovely day, here are some pictures we thought we would share with you all.

We are very excited to be participating in the charity event hosted by Sharniks hair design on Wednesday 21st of July at The De Vere Hotel. With a special guest appearance from the cast of Funny Girls it will be an night not to be missed!! The evening will include Fashion, Hair and Beauty and all proceeds made will go to The new breast wing for women at Blackpool Victoria Hospital. On the 11th June 2010 we were all very excited to be attending one of the most fabulous weddings of the year!! At St Chad’s church in Poulton everyone was positioned and waiting in anticipation to see our beautiful Sheree tie the knot to her beloved Matthew.                     

As Matthew waited looking very calm and collective at the alter, we all could not wait for Sheree to arrive on time and all the girls here at Dan Kerr brides were just so excited to see her dress!!!

As Sheree arrived there were lots of ooh’s and aah’s from passers by in Poulton town, as she looked absolutely sensational!

The Bridesmaids, Anna, Leanne and Sienna looked “perfectly pretty” in their pink gowns

As Sheree entered the lovely St Chads Church in Poulton our jaws dropped in awe of how stunning  she looked!!  Her “My Lady” gown was breathtaking and the perfect choice for her as she “twinkled” down the aisle, escorted by her lovely mum Liz who did the honours of giving her away. The service was beautiful with not a dry eye in Church!!

After all the confetti was thrown and pictures were taken we were off to the beautiful grounds of Bartle Hall for the reception, The room looked gorgeous and Jane from “Flower Design” did an amazing job with all the flowers, they looked sensational as always!                                               

The speeches were delightful and as the champagne flowed along with tears of joy a most wonderful time was had by all!!

Congratulations Sheree and Matthew from all your family here at Dan Kerr Brides, we wish you all the happiness in your future together!!

We will be closed on Friday 1th June 2010 as we will be attending the wedding of our very dear friend and collegue Sheree who will be getting married tomorrow at 12.30pm at St Chad’s Church in Poulton. The reception will follow at Bartle Hall and we are all very excited!! Watch this space as pictures will be posted as soon as possible!

A huge congratulations to Mr and Mrs Heatley who recently got married at St Bernadette’s Church in Bispham. Leanne looked “simply stunning” in her beautiful San Patrick gown which was finished off with a gorgeous satin edge veil and a swarvorski crystal tiara. The jewellery designed by Halo and Co, complemented the dress perfectly, and as you can see from the photographs a most wonderful day was had by all!!

The bridesmaid’s all looked gorgeous in their dresses designed by “Forever Yours” and Jane from Flower Design did and amazing job as always complementing the gowns.
